ADRE Grade III Examination Pattern & Syllabus
The State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) conducts the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE) for Grade III category posts. The examination consists of 150 multiple choice questions carrying a total of 150 marks.

Detailed Syllabus Topics
- General Knowledge & Assam Heritage: History of ancient, medieval, and modern Assam, Ahom dynasty, freedom movement in Assam, geography, national parks, rivers, tribes, festivals, and major government schemes.
- Mathematics: Number system, LCM & HCF, percentages, profit & loss, simple and compound interest, ratio & proportion, time & work, time & distance, and mensuration.
- Reasoning: Analogy, classification, series completion, coding-decoding, blood relations, direction sense, and seating arrangements.
- English: Vocabulary, synonyms & antonyms, sentence correction, active & passive voice, prepositions, idioms, and reading comprehension.
Negative Marking Rules
There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer. Candidates must avoid random guessing.
