1. Supermarket Audit Executive
No of posts: 1
Age Limit: 35 years
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Auditing (e.g., B.Com, BBA)., Inter-level or completed qualifications like CA Inter, ACCA, or CMA are advantageous.
Other Requirements:
• Technical Knowledge: Strong grasp of accounting principles, inventory valuation, and retail internal controls.
• Software & Systems: Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software, ERP systems, POS back-end reports, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Soft Skills: High attention to detail, objective mindset, analytical problem-solving, and clear verbal/written communication.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in internal audit, accounts or retail/supermarket/FMCG operations.

Job Responsibilities:
• Inventory & Stock Control: Monitor stock movements, goods receiving, shelf damages, wastage, and physical-to-book stock variances. Conduct periodic physical stock and cash counts.
• Sales & POS Auditing: Audit daily point-of-sale (POS) transactions, cash registers, billing reconciliations, discounts, refunds, and void transactions.
• Financial & Voucher Checks: Review invoices, supplier receipts, purchase orders, and payment vouchers to verify transaction accuracy.
• Compliance & SOP Verification: Check adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), hygiene/safety rules, and statutory or tax compliance (e.g., GST/VAT filings).
• Spot Checks & Investigations: Execute unannounced floor/warehouse spot checks and assist in investigating suspected irregularities or shrinkage.
• Reporting & Follow-up: Prepare structured audit working papers and observation reports. Follow up with store managers to ensure corrective action plans are closed out on time.
